I don’t know what compels me to always check up on you. I guess I’m always checking on you to see if you’ve found someone new so I don’t feel so bad moving on. I don’t think it’s because I have trouble of moving on, or maybe I do; maybe I don’t. I just don’t want you to go through that awkward heart-wrenching stage of seeing me happy with someone else first, so I just rather go through all that for you first.

For example, seeing the things I’d write about her, clicking through pictures of me and whomever I’m with on Facebook, hearing all the things I did with her, but I never took a chance to do with you. I guess, I’m hoping that when you find out that I found someone new, it’d hurt less for you since you’ll have someone new to make you happier than I did, or that’s what I’m hoping at least. 

Even though it didn’t work out, I meant it when I said ” As long as you’re happy, I’m happy.” I didn’t say immediate happiness, I let you go believing that I’m doing what I believe is right to make you happy in the long run. I don’t really understand my reasoning, comprehension, or the stupidity that goes on in my head. I’m just doing what feels right.
